Southbury CT restaurants
Hi
I am going to be in Southbury next week and was wondering if anybody could give me the name of a good restaurant for lunch. Needs to be a kid friendly type of place. Thanks!

You could try Maggie Mc Fly's not too far from I-84.

I thought that was middlebury? Or did they move from exit 17 off 84?

There are two of them: 6 Woodsive Ave, Middlebury, and 971 Main St, Southbury. Here's their web site: :: Maggie McFly's :: Home.

Maggie McFlys also just opened in Brookfield on Federal Road almost across the street from Costco.

I would agree with Maggie McFlys - they have a great menu (similar to what you'd find at Cheesecake Factory but more reasonably priced) and friendly service. It's located at the end of Main Street right off of exit 14.
Other places include the local pizza parlor, DiPalmas, with excellent New York style pizza. There's also Jordan's Restaurant on Main Street across from the Southbury Green which serves Greek style food.

I am assuming you mean Denmos which is next to Walgreens and Marie' Country Furnishings.

Leo's Restaurant only does breakfast and lunch, and is very kid-friendly. It's low-key and inexpensive. At the corner of Main Street and Poverty Rd., near exit 15 off of I-84.
Oops, just noticed that the OP was from February. Oh well!
