Default Something to do in Fairfield/NewHaven Counties

Hi
Can anybody tell me about any children's activities they know of in Fairfield and/or New Haven county? We will be going down to continue our house search and will have kids with us and wanted somewhere fun to take them since it will be a lot of just sitting in the car driving around. The kids are between 3-10 years old. Thanks!
