Thanks for the photos. I grew up in Ct. and miss it tremendously. Anyone have photos of the area around Ocean Beach or of Gillette Castle?

Maggie - There is a web site called Westport Now that has news and photos from Westport. It is very good and might bring back some good memories. Jay

In the next few days I will go to Westport and take a few shots.
In the mean time, enjoy these two photos of Shippan Point in Stamford. On both photos the NYC skyline is visible (on the left). In one the smog over NYC is also visible. This has to be seen with one's own eyes, the photos fail to give justice to that amazing sight, considering Stamford is about 40 miles northwest of the city.

we live next to a little state park. acutally from the top of the road it over looks highland lake and the valley too... the park, sunset park is known for wild blueberries..they are just starting to pop now.. people love to come with pails. nice place for a little picnic.. i am lucky to live here.. not to many places around like it.. we love to take walks. lots to see. i know once i move to florida, i wont have what i have here.. postage stamp size lots. lol.. neighbors right ontop of you.. here nobody on either side or in back.. very quiet. it will def take getting used to. but ill be close to the beach!!
