February 14, 2019.

Day #3 in a row with 1"+ on ground. This ties the longest streak of this season with November.
And it rained 1/2" too.

Cool unplowed road in Greenwich.

Panorama from New Canaan

Shiny. That's the sleet on top and the refreezing of the 1/2 inch of rain that fell. This preserves the snowpack longer. 1-2" snow-sleet is hard to melt even in sun

Newtown & Sandy Hook, CT

Hmm, might be a nice preserve. 22 acres only though.

See anything?

Off the beaten path. A lot of Tornado damage in this area. Looks like someone went off the cliff here or a tree crushed the guard rail

March 4, 2019

Fast moving coastal storm. Considering it didn't start sticking till 2 hours after it started technically all this in 10 hours.

Looks like Mid Winter.

No wind at all during the storm so things accumulated nicely. Averaged 9:1 ratios.

Then the best part. So picturesque as the clouds cleared. Note the roads were fine 4hrs after a foot snowstorm. Nice job DOT!

My new wallpaper.

March 7, 2019.

About that March sun.... Day # 7 in a row with snow on ground.

3-4" snow depth still at the beach. And there is snow still on the little islands over the Sound.

My backyard still has 7 inches this morning. Yes, it gets sun.

In Milford... Slushy

Deck is up there.

Gone are the days of Golfing in Early March.

So....about that March/October Sun Angle.... Still over half foot left. Day #8 in a row with a snowpack. And we had sunny days past 4 days!

Wild life having a hard time finding food once again.

Decided to put a tray of bird seeds out... the Cardinal was first to come

Then the Blue Jay pushes away the Cardinals

Then the Squirrel pushes everyone away.

Thanks! It was through a window. Couldn't get the cardinal sharper. Must be the red and the cheap camera/
