Just 3 Days with high temps below freezing and rivers are freezing over. No rain, less movement also helps. But considering it was in the 50s 3 days ago and a warm winter overall, this is surprising.

This is the Norwalk River by the Merrit.

There's always something beautiful in all four seasons here. I took these today.

Bridgeport, CT near Stratford Border. This is Johnsons Creek which opens to Long Island Sound

Cambium has guts to go out and take photos in these temperatures. As for me? I will be out of hibernation hopefully in March. Till then folks. lol

Thanks. Yeah, I took a bunch and the HDR came out the best.

Here's one I took today. Even though some areas had snowcover, We can call this picture "A Snowless Winter"

Cove Island Park in Stamford. I dont know how they stick their heads under that water. Ponds and Lakes are completely frozen over. You can tell because the light snow that fell layed right on top in the back there.

Not many times throughout the year we can post pics of frozen Lakes and Ponds. These guys said the ice was 6" thick few days ago.
