Bugs? Seriously? Where exactly do you live? I may need to invite you to my n'hood just so that you get your snow fix . We have a visible/stubborn snow pile(ette) sitting out front. Granted it's small now, but last measurable snow I had here happened the day before Thanksgiving 2013!

Cambium said that because of the buds on that plant as to allude to the warming. The odd thing for me is that plants have always had buds by this time of the year. At least I don't remember never seeing many plant species them without their buds.

It's Alive! (talking about winter).

Ice forming on the edges of the Norwalk River near the coast. This spills into the Long Island Sound but I'm facing opposite way here. Tide just coming in.

Max Temp low 30s today. Low temp was 19°F.
Yesterday didn't pass freezing and low temp was 24F
Day before didn't pass freezing and low temp was 26F
