My fellow CT metro north commuters:

Is there a credit card that is best to charge my metro north and train travels to? Know if it qualifies as travel on Amex just as a flight would be? Trying to maximize any rewards I can get from this expense.

Thanks!!

Does your employer offer a pre-tax account for commuting? That would be best.

Yes they do but there's a limit and it does not cover the full amount. So I'm wondering what's best to cover the balance.
