Puerto Rico has 60 democratic delegates, while Connecticut has 55. Connecticut also has about 400-500 thousand more people than Puerto Rico. Shouldn't Connecticut have the 60 delegates and Puerto Rico have 55?

It's actually the other way around, at least according to Census 2010, which is the one that counts for these purposes.

just checked wikipedia and PR and CT have about the same population 3.597 million vs 3.548. CT is slightly higher, by about 50k.

For the Democrats, CT has 70 delegates and PR has 67. For the Republicans, PR has 23 and CT has 28.

Puerto Rico is currently undergoing rapid depopulation; the population may be lower than 3 million by 2020.

Most Puerto Ricans are moving to Florida, primarily to the Orlando/Kissimmee area. They are US citizens and may register to vote as soon as they arrive stateside.
