Article needs more tax incentives. Otherwise, I don't think anyone here will read it.

Seems to have been written by someone not too familiar with the state the way they keep referring to "the" Long Island Sound.

Number 1, 4, 8, 9, 10, 18, and 19 are the reasons why I love it here. Great state to grow up in but it has changed a lot within the past 20 years. Both for good and bad reasons.

Yeah....maybe CT should do what other states do and have county governments with county sales and property taxes.

I'll agree with:
1.) Connecticut has the perfect fusion of urban and rural. Kind of agree. Feel CT is developing to quickly leading to overcrowded development and overcrowded roads. Many of the rural sections offer very few job opportunities and too far away to travel to work.

2.) The scenic waterside views and lighthouses are truly one of a kind. Definitely agree.

3.) The fall foliage is postcard-worthy. Seriously. It’s the best there is. Definitely agree.

4 ) CT does have good pizza options. Also many of these pizza options are not just in New Haven. Also many good eats and Italian restaurants in CT.

5.) Spring comes in full-bloom every year and cherry blossoms line the streets. Will agree never been to the New Haven spring blossom heard it is beautiful. Spring can come late however with CTs unpredictable weather.

6.) Not sure about winter and parks in CT. I feel winter makes me a shut in.

7.) Will agree with that

8.) Will agree with that

9.) Not sure only been to Hammonasset Beach, Rocky Neck, and a few beaches east of Rocky Neck. Can't argue about water west of Hammonasset never been. However, find water feels cleaner.

10.) Will agree

11.) Not in to basketball, but UCONN does gave a good basketball program

12.) Never been

13.) Not sure about this one. Can't find much to do in Hartford besides the Convention center. There are a few museums in CT. Only been to Stamford once to take the train to the City.

14.) Will agree. Never been to Enders State Forest have to check it out.

15. Agree or swim it.

16. Amazing and agree.

17. Agree

18. The casinos are nice, but not much of a casino person.

19 and 20 I'll agree.

21. Never saw Gilmore Girls

22. True lots of farm land up towards the northern part of the State

23. A lot of options for golfers

24. I'll agree

25. Never knew except Meryl Streep.

I hear locals say "the Long Island Sound" on occasion. Now if hey had said "the I-95" it would have been a clear give away. Jay

No I did not write it but I do agree with most of it. I do agree with you that our beaches are not the greatest but they are decent and close to a lot of our population. As for your contention that these things are nothing you can't find in other places, I disagree. You cannot find all of this in one place. So rather than just dismissing everything said here, a least try to be a little objective and admit much of the list is true. . Jay
