Default hotels (westbrook area)

Im going to a wedding soon at Water's edge and this is the ONLY place where the bride and groom have a block of rooms.
I dont feel like shelling out 250 dollars for a room we will only be using to sleep about 4 hours in before heading to pick up our kids at the sitters the next morning.
I've tried to find sherton.marriott/hyatt and have found NONE in that area.

Anyone know of any hotels that are decent for less then 200 a night, I'd rather NOT stay in a motel8 type hotel.

I've found a lack of motels in this area that are nice! Have you tried any B&B's? I know there are a handful in Westbrook. THere is also one in Clinton (a few miles away) called 3 LIberty Green. There are a handful in Old Saybrook too.

The area mostly has motel type places. If that is not what you want, then stay at Waters Edge which is very nice plus you will not beat the convenience. A Sheraton, Marriott or Hyatt would cost you only slightly less but there are none in the area. To me the convenience is worth it. JMHO Jay
