Wow, 11 pages, how do we scroll through all of them?
Stamford, West Norwalk, Milford, Stratford. West Norwalk near Merrit by far best "town". Milford was best "City". So much to do, afforable, lots of shopping & feel of being upstate with lots of land around.

Coming from Arizona, I have no info about living in the East. Thanks for any info you have.
I can help you concerning MERIDEN -some- It isn't a bad town. For a "great" "Sunday Drive" take the Chamberlin Highway NORTH (near the MAUL). Tony Perucci (203)235-1480 is a Tile Mason and he has a -good many- "Antique Autoimobiles" all need restoration. He lives near Gracey Ave. at "4 Hilltop". TELL HIM right up I gave you his number and -say- of how you posted this REQUEST. Tony is a "really good guy" past 14 years Alderman for the City. I bet he has vast knowledge and being a former Alderman I'm sure he -want to HELP YOU. ps: Tony is 74 but -looks- 54. Grab him Baby sitter sometimes, too, if you need him (My Idea. I don't know what he'll say. Pay him min wage - it's "only Baby sitting"). WilkinsonJboxingII@Hotmail.com -John Wilkinson- boxer (retired) 51 bouts in RECORD

Grew up in Canton. It's the only town in CT I really love. Small hippy town by Avon and Simsbury. I'm in Berlin now and am not a big fan. The only other part of CT I'd want to be in is West Hartford.

I have lived in New Haven, Hamden, Middletown and Hartford, i liked them all, but i prefer a city life, and thus hamden was my least favorite. i lived in Middletown and Hartford the longest, both were a lot of fun growing up, i would say in this order, Hartford, Middletown, New Haven, Hamden.

I've lived in New London, Waterford (growing up) West Hartford and Hartford (for school - UHa). West Hartford is really nice, I would consider raising a family here, but I'm interested in a bigger city after graduation. Waterford was a great place to grow up. New London is reviving itself and is on the way to living up its potential. I'd have to say from my experiences, Waterford is my favorite just because I spent 17 years there!

i'll have to go chronologically - easier to remember since there's been so many..

Uncasville (hometown - not the same anymore w/the casino)
Norwich (first place of my own)
Vernon/Rockville (first and second condos)
North Haven
New Haven (third condo)
Meriden
Danbury
Middletown/Cromwell

kind of hard to choose between the top 3 since each place had its good and bad points but they would have to be: Mtown, Danbury, Vernon.
