Does anyone have any suggestions for how to meet interesting people in their 30s in a small town in CT? e

Try the website MeetUp.com I can find anything from local hiking groups to book clubs to dinner party clubs in my area (I'm also in a small town).

Do you have kids? That is the only way we've had luck meeting anyone.

You could try local churches, volunteering for local charities or the library or taking classes at adult ed. Jay

Well, what do you like to do? Do that, and you will find people with common interests

I will second the recommendation of churches and volunteering. People will take the time to get to know you, especially if you show up regularly. In CT, a church is one of the few places where you can plug into an existing social circle, outside of work.

I agree, with Mass.

I think they are talking more social groups. Some Churches (including Catholic ones) have Young Adult groups, etc.
