If you are Red Sox fans, I would recommend Shoreline towns from New London and eastward. Or, if you get a job in Hartford, look east of the river in places like South Windsor, Vernon, Tolland, or Bolton. I am only assuming you are Red Sox fans because you are from Boston ... so perhaps the areas in western and southern CT would not suit you so well, them being in metropolitan NY. If it's no problem for you (some Sox fans can't stand it...) look around the other, more NY-oriented parts of the state (around Norwalk and New Haven). Good luck and hope you find a nice fit .
