I believe Cindy Lauper lives in Stamford, or has a second house here anyway. Also, Gene Wilder lives in North Stamford, where he has for decades.

Manute Bol, tallest player in the NBA, lives in my town. So does Olympian Jim Shea. Author/journalist Dominick Dunne grew up in my town (I think he's somewhere in Fairfield County now), so did actor Joseph Mascolo who's done some TV soap's and movies (including a co-star in Jaws 2) and can even be seen dining in WH center sometimes.
Jessica Biel went to one of the private schools in Simsbury, and there's a few professional golfers who live in the wealthier neighborhoods of Farmington.
Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane grew up in both Kent and Fairfield, but I think he lives out west now.
Former NY Mets manager Bobby Valentine lives in Stamford and even has a sports bar named after him. Haven't made it there yet unfortunately but it's on my list.

Barbara Hershey is/was in Oxford: she was my brother's neighbor. I think David Letterman is in Bedford Hills, New York.

Let me clarify that Regis Philbin officially lives in Greenwich, however his property is right on the Greenwich/Stamford border.
On another note, Gayle King (aka Oprah's bff) has a home in Greenwich as does Tommy Hilfiger, and Pedro Martínez. Of these three, only Pedro's property is off the market. |
