I eat there once in a blue moon. If you love sports, that's the place to go! It's good food with a laid-back atmosphere.

Ivan Lendl famously used to live in Greenwich; I've read that he currently lives somewhere near Torrington.

The listing expired on 04/30/2009 after nearly two years on the market. The asking price was $14,500,000.

50 Cent will never sell his home in Farmington.
The guy wants 18 million for it now and bought it for something around 5 or 6 million I think.
People with 18 million to spend on a home are not doing it in Farmington. If you realize the only places in the US with homes costing that much are close to Manhattan and other large, large cities or on the water. Hartford's economy is def. large especially for a city of it's size but I don't think there is anyone in that area that can afford an 18 million dollar home.
The CEO of UTC, which is based in Hartford made some crazy compensation but from what I understand he spent most of his time living in Manhattan even though he did have a home in the Avon, Simsbury, Farmington area I believe.
As for the rich and famous in CT, I've heard rumors that Jeter was close to buying a home in Milford but never have I heard that he had a house in Oxford. That's got to be a lie.
Paul Newman and his wife had a house in Wesport, closer to the Easton side I believe. One of his children currently live in Easton. Don Imus had a house in Southport. Chris Russo and Mike Francesca of WFAN both had homes in New Canaan I believe.
Vince McMahon lives in Greenwich.
Lots of rich and famous in Connecticut, not just Fairfield County too. Lots up in the Litchfield area.

I heard that he bought a sprawling mansion near the Oxford Airport. I drove by the street he supposedly lives on (off of Route 188 and 67) and there was a new electric gate with a security camera and lights, with 2 mailboxes. It looked pretty serious. Maybe one of our Realtor friends can clue us in.

He's not listed as the owner of any property in Connecticut.

No problem. I even checked under his parents' names and couldn't find anything.
