No kidding, I'm one of them - for boating/fishing/cruising. For sunbathing/swimming not so much. Comparing one CT town's small rocky seaweed murky water beach to another's though is kind of silly.

Many people care, and real estate prices reflect that, which is why it's justifiably more expensive on the coast.

I've owned two direct waterfront props here and won't live anywhere but the coast, you are preaching to the choir.
Was just commenting on beach quality here that's not exactly the Caribbean.

It's not as bad as you say either. There are some nice sandy beaches, but I wouldn't swim in it. Even without beaches, the coast is very attractive.
