Tom Foley was not a bad candidate because he was wealthy. Tom Foley was a bad candidate because he was a bad candidate.

Read my response. Never said he was bad because he was wealthy. He was bad because he had questionable past history and motives for running and was an arrogant jerk. Jay

Yes that was directed elsewhere, didn’t mean to imply you disagree

Their political philosophy is totally opposite of a Republican one percenter. And yes, this centrist thinks there is something wrong with that. And I am not the only one who thinks like this in CT and that is the reason Malloy got in twice.

1% isn’t that impressive. I’m supposedly a 2%’er and I don’t make a ton of money.

Considering his Stamford house I’d peg him as 1%.

What government office in CT (or any other place) has Obsitnik held?

The Independents in CT will reject him just like we rejected Linda McMahon (who ran for Senator) who never held a government office. I guess in the age of Trump tons of these people will run for the top spots with no record of having been in a public office of any kind.
