So funny how all the "southerners" come on during our snow events to tell us to "hang in there" wtf?

As I usually do.... Snow totals from CT only. I will have maps later on when they all update.

Double Digits for many areas across the state.

If 15.8" was most ever for a March day in Hartford since 1905 then you can be assure that the double digit snowfall elsewhere is at least a Top 10 snowiest March day in CT. Impressive event

Here's one from NWS Boston

Along the coast, we didn't get all that much. And the high winds that they predicted never materialized. I am glad of that.

What we do have now is a lot of ice. The precipitation changed over from snow to rain around midday yesterday and that packed down the snow and lowered the overall accumulation. Then it got cold again last night and everything froze. So we have a moderate amount of snow with a layer of ice on everything.

I hope it warms up soon and the snow is gone.

It's called -- winter in the Northeast. If this was not happening, then it would be an anomaly. Are we also supposed to be surprised that it is oppressively hot and humid in Florida or TX for 6 months?
