I agree that Stamford is a great place for young families, but some of the other towns on this list are questionable.

Not surprising at all. It's the only city in CT that consistenly is ranked among the best, year in and year out. Sometimes I do wonder what some people are thinking by insinuating that Stamford is like any other CT city when in fact it isn't.

Makes total sense since the other cities are much too far for NYC commuting. Also great for Fortune company employees being close to NYC and international airports.

14 students per classroom sounds a little iffy though

Mount Vernon, Yonkers, New Rochelle are some of the cities much closer to NYC than Stamford will ever be. Why are they not in most lists of the US's best cities to live while Stamford appears in many of them? By your logic, those cities should not only appear in those lists, but should also rank higher than Stamford. What happen?
