Staying 3 days and nights in Danbury at the Comfort Inn as I am visiting family in Putnam NY not far from Danbury.

Growing up there I remember the Windmill Diner and Marcus Dairy, I know Marcus Dairy is no longer there but is the Windmill still good under the new ownership?

Also does the Wiffle Ball World Headquarters in Shelton give tours to tourists? We love baseball and our 2.5 year old might enjoy to see something like that, I know I would, anyways thanks for listening, see ya at the end of the month Connecticut.

I used to like the Windmill years ago. High quality for a diner. Probably just like any other diner now.

If you want an excellent diner, go to Pop's in Milford if you go to Shelton.

Still good and pretty much the same, expect they enhanced the desert selection.Previous owners retired amd sold the business. Been going there for years and I went to school with kids.

That's rare for something like that to change hands and not become like every other diner in the state

Probably better off going to a Met/Yankee game an hour away or up to Hartford to see the Junkyard Goats play in the new ballpark there.

Why would you suggest they drive all the way to Milford when they only have to go to Shelton?

OP... the place you want is Kings in Newtown. It's right on your way to Shelton and the food is AWESOME!
