Default Town of Fairfield has subsidized camps?

Just came back from an "open house tour" in Fairfield. One of the agents we met said the town's schools run some camps for kids at very low prices b/c the town subsidize them.

Anyone happen to know about this and would you pls share the info/experience? Thanks.

The camps are managed by the dept. of recreation and parks:

Town of Fairfield | Fairfield Parks and Recreation

Right now they only have wait list, they get full pretty quickly.

You can also check the Wakeman's club: Welcome to Wakeman Boys and Girls Club - Southport, CT but they are a bit more expensive.

Best,
