My town is upgrading sidewalks too!

We must be the next big thing in CT.

Can't wait to be considered hip.

The town has so many cool groups it is now hard to keep up. Restaurants popping up everywhere along with an art scene, literary scene, tons of bike and 10Ks, running club, hiking club at Tarrywile Park, children's Tinkergarten classes at Tarrywile Park, cool Victorians and homes that are gorgeous on the inside. It's quiet yet not boring. Neighbors are great.

Lot's of people here are city-urban-farmer types. I think the last I read Danbury is really popular with backyard chicken owners and the farmer's market and concerts on the green are walkable.

The schools, six of them, were named Schools of Distinction. The families are approachable and the kids on the block actually run and play outside together, right on the street and come over to each other's houses.

Everything is here from Whole Foods to special markets, everything. It's a blast. The vibe here is positive and up and coming. You must go to the cool Brazilian bakeries like Le Elephant and International Bakery.

The little league here is awesome as are the youth soccer teams. The Tech High School is super popular and hard to get into, unless you live in Danbury.

There is a huge homeschool community and a ton of private schools and parochial schools, the only town with three parochial schools plus a Lutheran school plus other religious schools, plus a magnet school and soon a charter school.

The city just gets better every month.

I never had it on my radar until recently and wished I moved here 10 years ago.

Prizes are moving up. Most significantly, houses are being snatched up very fast.
Sorry I’m late to the party on this one, but I wanted to say my dad grew up on New Street in Danbury and attended Henry Abbott Tech School in the 1960s, he always spoke fondly of Danbury and I always feel good when I’m visiting relatives in the area
