....now we have to deal with folks using them as lanes in traffic. As soon as things get a little backed up, they pull out into the On Ramp and some fool further up let's them in

Whereabout? I'm blown away by the exit 6 off ramp -- I'm convinced they expanded it just to accommodate that new oddly placed Starbucks.

The I91 to RT15 ramp in Hartford is another DOT disaster.

Any left lane off ramp is considered a disaster as well. When they built the highway, they would have never thought that people would rely so much on hiighways.

A few years ago they did that to exit 8 on I-95 southbound in Stamford.

Right now they are doing the same extension but northbound.

And yes, people use it to skip a few cars.

I-91 to CT Route 15 on-ramp...northbound, just after Brainard Airport? That long ramp up to the Charter Oak Bridge is supposed to be converted to two lanes someday. Southbound, I will assume you mean where the ramps mingle with one another near the Wethersfield town line?

I think the I-95 south ramp for Exit 8 in Stamford was an improvement, actually.

The ramps which need improvement now for I-84? Definitely in the US Route 7 areas of Danbury (either 3 or 7).

Exit 29 on I-91 NB will be rebuilt in a few years as long as funding does not dry up. It will be a two lane left exit though.

I-84 in Danbury is also being designed now but not sure of its schedule. Jay
