Hello,
I am fascinated with how very helpful and honest people are being in these forums and sharing so much detailed information. I hope some of you will be able to help me find a really nice place up ahead.

I am a single, still actively working and on-the-younger-side of being a senior lady. My work is in the South Windsor/Vernon area so I want to live within an easy enough drive to work. I am looking to downsize from my big house to make life easier all around with upkeep and to save some on expenses.

I am looking for a 55-62 and up senior house or condo community with everything on one floor. I would also like to have a garage and some outdoor space to relax in where I could also plant a few planters, grill outdoors and hear the birds chirping outside. It also has to be small dog friendly. I am hoping to find my dream little place between $95,000-$140,000. I want to live in a safe town, community, in a friendly place. I also need easy access to grocery shopping, pharmacy, gas station, community activities and to safe, pretty, walking parks. Safety is a huge issue and hopefully not sounding too rude but a pretty environment is really nice too.
Hope you can help me find some nice places to check out.

That price range will not get you all that you want. You might get a modest condo at that price. I am not sure it will have a garage either. You might have to up your price range. Jay

I think Jay may be right. You can find the Condo for that price but not in a town like you describe.
For instance here in the condo not in a bad place but not great

Or pay more for the safer town

You might want to try East Windsor Windsor Locks and Windsor. Those towns all have very safe parts to them but the schools have issues which depresses property values.
