Hello. I do not need help with anything, I am just wondering about some opinions about what you guys think are the prettiest towns in the state of Connecticut. All of my personal favorite spots for scenery is found in Litchfield County. If you had to ask me, I would say Cornwall is the most scenic town in the state. Salisbury and Kent are right up there with it, but that area near West Cornwall Covered Bridge and the river is astounding. What do you guys think?

Litchfield County is pretty, but I think coastal CT is more picturesque. Specifically, North Stonington and Mystic.

Easy. Southport by the water. Just about perfect (other than the property taxes)...

Many of the little towns along the water east of New Haven are lovely jewels. Madison, Guilford, Old Saybrook, both sides of Mystic, Stonington Borough, for example.

Inland Essex, Chester, Deep River are charming as is the area around the Lebanon town green. Much of Litchfield county is already noted. There are so many places to choose from around the state.

Southport, Milford, Ridgefield, Guilford, Madison, Essex, Branford, Litchfield, Kent, Warren, Redding, Easton, Cornwall, Salisbury, Chester, Stonington, Groton/Mystic, Rowayton, New Haven (yes, Yale campus and the historic estates are very "Scenic" to me), Killingworth, Simsbury, New Hartford.

All scenic in different ways.

The list goes on. I think Litchfield and the eastern shoreline and lower CT river valley are the most naturally scenic.

Where is it not scenic in CT?

I'm a believer that there is something beautiful with every town. You just have to find it but it might not fit your criteria of "scenic".

In my travels across the state (mostly Western) I have found some awesome sceneries including New London and New Haven Counties. My personal favorite is Litchfield.

Here's the Broadbrook Reservoir in Cheshire, CT in New Haven county. Would you call this "Scenic"?
