Wow! I was gonna mention that before too. Im hearing a lot of people under the weather too.

Hope you feel better asap!

Im not a believer that weather does it, but its related because when its cold people wipe their noses, touch things, and then are couped up inside without airflow so germs thrive and get passed along. Plus immune system works harder so if its weak to begin with then its easier to get sick. I know people who get sick in summer but it doesnt spread as easily as winter.

I dont think the air temp is a direct physical reason though.

Cold air doesn't cause a cold...never did ..never will

Good point on spreading germs easier in winter though.

Radar loop 2-6am. That big circle in Ontario is the center of the storm. It's dragging a front across for us. Rain up to Montreal with a southerly flow. Some spots getting snow in New England but nothing big.

53° at Bridgeport right now. Tropical! lol

Rain will end after 10am West to East.

Rain again Saturday night.

7:35am Radar and Temps. Wish it was snow. SWCT would be winning right now. lol

There's actually a weak coastal storm happening right now, and the cold front to follow

I'm over 0.15" now but looks like its ending soon

Yeah, I agree that the cold temp didn't cause it. heading to the dr to make sure it isnt serious, but someone that I was in close proximity with 2 weeks ago has come down with walking pneumonia.. so I'm blaming her for now

Ended up with 0.40" from this mornings rain.

Next up... Rain and wind Saturday into Sunday. Timing for the rain is tough still. I think it starts around Sunset Saturday. Ends Sunday morning

As the front and storm leave it will change to snow for PA and NY and Higher Elevations of New England Sunday.. Only rain for us..

No snow threat still.

This map is for 11am Sunday

Week right after Thanksgiving looks interesting ..both Weather channel and Accuweather hint at a snow/rain chance.
