Latest GFS says rain storm Sunday after tomorrows snow.

Canadian says stop showing the storm over land Sunday, it will be off the coast.

Fun Fun,

Can you tell we're in a different pattern? Back in December and early January it was easier to call for a snowstorm. Was either snow or nothing. Now its Rain or Mix or Snow.

No High Pressure to the north is killing this chance Sunday night.

More & More likely Sunday is rain... Winter over? Early spring? Onto the next snow chance?

NAM. See where the HP is... sucks for the coast. The storm wouldnt be tracking over land like that with a strong Quebec High.

What might happen is a new coastal storm takes over but might be too late for us anyway.

More rain during winter, how depressing, it's RAINING RIGHT NOW ON FEB 1st. There is no reason to live in the north east if it's going to rain when it should be snowing.

Juicy front! Expecting just 1-2" across the state. So enjoy the half foot of snow. lol

Temps still mid 30s but it's below freezing now above 3000' so the surface will drop more and support snow. The higher hills in Litchfield should be changing over right now

6:15-10:15pm loop

Again, if we could just get it 5 to 10 degrees cooler this would be an awesome storm. As the resident teacher here I'm so annoyed with this winter!

2-6am Loop

Was snowing north of the Merritt for a few hours. I bet Northern CT has 3-4" at least

Just changed over on Long Island past hour but precip is pretty much done.

I guess because it's still snowing there I see that if you draw a line from Danbury to Norwalk everything north and east of there (including those 2 places) has delays. I didn't see any closings though.

Over 1/4" of wasted liquid fell again. What a waste. Typical for us but still a waste. lol

My timelapse camera taking images every minute confirms the snow changed to all snow around 4am. Stopped at 6:15am. Only a coating on the ground.

Here's a 2am-6:30am loop. Don't get too bored. lol
