Euro still has about 1/2" liquid of all snow for Danbury so 4-6" is still good bet there.

No rapid melting for anyone afterwards. Snowpack gonna last for many more days still.

Long lasting March snowpack again! I seriously didn't think this would happen this year! I was wrong about an early spring.

I don't understand why March's have been this way past 6yrs. If we didn't get record warm months or a hot annual average I would think it's the coming Ice Age. lol

In fact, Bridegport, CT needs 4 more days this month with 1" or more on ground to enter Top 10 number of days with 1"+ snow on ground for March.

I agree. Despite the sunshine over the weekend, both days had a definite wintry feel to them.

We didn't really have much of a cool crisp fall. I mean, I was at the beach well into September and even in October! We're paying for it on the back end of winter for sure! My tulips were coming up, and many of my perennials have been sprouting.

Loop to 8am only (12z). Last frame is 8am. Will be snowing everywhere. Starts after 9pm tonight.

Darker blues are intense snow rates.

I see a couple of distinct north south bands over CT but yhe true long duration whiteout is East of CT

GFS, Euro, and Canadian models have this storm for 21st. We'll have to see details in time.

Whoa. How did I forget them. Kinda makes sense for BDR because I guess waters are colder in February didn't allow a big surge in Avg temp like NYC which is why March is cooler in NYC.
