1.98" of rain at Hartford's Brainard Airport in the last 24 hours or so. Nearly all of it caused by a warm front.

Just had 2 5 minute downpours with lightning and thunder. I was able to get out of my car without getring wet seconds after it stopped. Feels and looks summery for sure.

3rd monsoons like downpour now.

Dews near 70F.

12 weeks ago we had a half foot snowstorm.

Just got home... WOW!!!!!!!! When the outer tube has liquid in it that means its over an inch. Usually its just a little overflow... And this was just from 4:15-5pm.

I left with just 0.19" in the inner tube. Got back to 2.1"! What the heck happened here. Monsoon. Add 0.90" from before 7am. Last time with 3"+ in 24hrs was April 17th.

Radar Loop last 4hrs. 1:45-5:45pm

I'm guessing that's Exit 16 in Norwalk. Another spots which always floods is the foot of the exit southbound, by the Stratford/Bridgeport town line.

Numbers for Brainard Airport now total 2.27".
