There's only 2 official sites for CT. (BDL & BDR). There are more locations we can check but requires more steps and explaining how data can be missing.

1. Click this. Choose NYC, Boston, or Albany. Each office covers certain part of Connecticut.

2. Lets choose NYC.

3. On this page: Choose Bridgeport.
Choose Monthly Summary.
Enter "POR" into range date (starts from beginning of records).
Choose Avg Temp.
Choose Mean.
Click Go

You'll get all the data. You can copy and paste June-July-Aug into Excel and get the Summer Averages for each year then sort by highest number. Little work but this is the official way. I don't trust any other source.

Edit: I also trust this site because they grab the data from NWS.
http://drought.rcc-acis.org/

Choose Single Station.
Seasonal Time Series
In Options choose Avg Temp, Mean.
Range POR - 2018
Choose Summer
Enter Station call letters (BDR, BDL, BOS, NYC, ect ect)

This has to be one of the most humid summers in a while?

2:15-6:15am Loop. The Big "Orange Circle" right over the Northeast. Upper Low causing more instability. Stalled front off the coast. Wet, Stormy, Humid, Isolated pattern continues today.

3.94" this month so far here. Another overcast morning. With fog.

Maybe ever? I'm so tired of the AC being on!

June may have been non-humid but it was certainly chilly nights and mornings. I think we had enough warmth to make it look normal or above average though.

My lawn furniture is growing moss. I leave everything tipped over and open so they don't hold water and have circulation. Yet they are growing moss. I have never seen this before.

I'm waiting for the humidity to break. I cleaned up the garage yesterday and saw the kids toys and saw wth, I haven't had them out enough this summer. But it's just to frigin wet and humid out. At least they have had plenty of time at the beach and in the pool to compensate.

Another factor (perhaps helped by the humidity) is even when it has not been 90 degrees out the nighttime lows this August have been quite high (though not records, i.e. no lows near or above 80 probably due to the fact that we haven't had "super highs" say near or above 100 to match that). While for various reasons they tend to have higher nighttime lows than surrounding areas, we are almost halfway into the month and I've noticed that NYC has not had a low temp below 70 this August (they did have a high below 80 yesterday so no streak like BDL had).

2016: 8.40"
2017: 12.84"

Interesting steady pace for BDR past 5 yrs but this year should end up wettest Summer since 2013
Bridgeport:

2015: 9.29"

2018: 9.33"

Looks Like BDL got another 1.5 or more inches in the past few days. closing in on 2013.
