Keep an eye on the weather today for those in the NW part of the state as there is a low, but not 0, chance for an isolated tornado today.

2nd Thunderstorm today. 70th this year or whatever.

1st missed to the north. This one seems stronger.

Cambium,

Has this been one of the hottest summers in CT history? It sure feels like it.

Certainly one of the most humid. If I'm correct, this super high dewpoint stretch began on Aug 1, and won't break until Sunday (Aug 19).

# 1000 Thunderstorm now. Power went out for few seconds. I see wind damage reports around and a wall of water entering CT. Lots of lightning.

That persistent Bermuda High has been causing all the humidity past 4-6 weeks.

We need this front to push East asap! Another 3/4" of rain fell past 24hrs. Up to 4.75" for the month now.
