Don't get mad but........ It's warmer in Hartford, all across Connecticut and even Warmer in Northern Maine this morning than central Florida!

Wow at the 30s in Louisiana, Mississippi & Alabama. Cold suburbs in spots. These aren't the lows either but will be close.

6:30amEST temps

See why Maine is warmer? Right side of trough still (jet stream) + clouds.

It's coming, I promise... I feel it here. Dews dropping. Air getting chillier/drier. What a stretch or hot and humid weather we just had, gees.

Yup here in Prospect we got hammered. Tons of flooding in the yard, luckily we have drains so our side yard didn't turn into a swamp.

Check this out... I knew was interesting watching the radar yesterday..

Here's a look at the totals Estimated by radar only (not actual totals) but it's a great look at the overall scenario..

As the front was coming across the Ohio Valley, precip moving south to north, it actually dried out over land. PA. MD, DE & NJ got screwed. Huge Bust!

Then as the front exited off the coast precip got enhanced and continued to feed into Long Island, CT and New England continuing the south to north move.

Clear indication what the ocean did. Now imagine this was all snow... I was on the edge of the heaviest precip but NYC snow lovers would be pissed! lol

Oh yea..this would have been a huge bust for western CT right on the NY border.... yet central CT might have gotten 2-3 feet..would have been crazy

Wow, wild contrast in a short range. Looks like BDR broke its streak with a vengeance!

Nature will never stop amazing me, when you can have such a disparity in precipitation amounts in such a short distance.
