Deep for March but doesn't look like it will last long. SWE isn't too-too impressive and the rainstorm will most likely saturate the entire snowpack above freezing. I anticipate the mud will return sooner or later.

Looking at the BSR, the flow looks unconductive for any big snowstorms. I don't think we will see a snowstorm over 2" until the 2019-20 season.

Not for long, so "stare at it" while it lasts.

From what I saw at this point in time, you have an all day Sunday rain then showers event coming up except for the Hartford region where it's a mix to rain.

No more snow forecast here in SWNJ today, just a chance of a rain shower and AM rain Sunday BTW.

What a difference approx., 150 driving miles makes in regards to winter type weather.

7 degrees No I'm not grateful it's 3 degrees warmer than yesterday

Despite temps in the low 30s, yesterday was extremely bitter. And I need to use my truck. My scrap is all frozen to the bottom and no matter what I do, the bed will be wet and I have to move stuff in cardboard boxes. Reason #184645294027465849275574926 I hate winter, you f with my life daily. I'm out at least once a day chipping ice and moving snow.

Another morning under 15°. Crazy!

For the CT coast (BDR), 1st week of March has been trending colder and colder since the early 2000s. 2019 is the 8th coldest with a 29°F average.. Note there are 4 yrs in the Top 10 in the past decade only.

Also... with a max temp of only 42° the 1st 7 days of March, its the 7th coldest max. Only 6 other years were colder. Meaning.... usually we have a higher max temp this time of year
