Not bad today lot cooler feeling than yesterday. Few gust of wind here and there make it a bit chilly out, but not bad. Almost feels like distal weather on the inland.

Heard huge rain storm coming in. People were talking about it coming in early at 11pm now and clearing by 3pm. Hoping there's a break in the morning.

You're off by a day, TODAY was the 23rd, so the next two maps are for tomorrow and Tuesday.

I don't know if this reflects our coming cooler weather the next 3 days, but there was some record cool temperatures in northern Maine today. Both Caribou and Houlton broke records for the date (both set in 1997) with lows of 42 and 38 respectively. Escourt Station, ME hit 31 this morning and is so far the lowest temperature in the continental US today, a "coldest spot in the country" for the day in summer is rare (but not unprecedented) to happen east of the Rockies.

5:50am radar and temps. Heavy rains over NYC/Long Island that might come on shore in CT. Other embedded heavy rain spots around. Wow at the 40s and 30s up there.

Which reminds me that 31 in northern Maine yesterday did stick as the coldest temperature in the continental US for the day. Just noting because again it is fairly rare in the summer for the coldest temperature in the US on any given day to be in the East.

Too early to be this cold. Will barely touch 70 tomorrow. Anything below 60 is pants and long sleeve weather for me.
