All I know is that it smells like snow--Farmington Valley. Just got in from walking the dog. Doesn't feel cold enough though.

Keeping it simple. Next Storm. This weekend.

Reason why it's rain.
1. Bermuda High (Or SouthEast High) sitting right there.
2. Jet stream is pushed north to New England or Quebec
3. Because of the Jet streams position the storm track is from Plains to Great Lakes
4. Southern Warm surge pushed into us. RAIN SUNDAY
5. Snowstorm on West and North Side of storm track.

THEN.......... Still working out Tuesdays 4th storm... But the Next storm after that is next weekend. More interesting I think.

Jet stream dives down to the South. Storms always follow the Jet so we'll see if that axis is over land (Rain), off the coast (Snow), over the Atlantic (OTS), or suppressed south more (cold no snow)

Latest GFSFV-3 has a blizzard for us Monday Dec 10th.

NO RAIN!

Beautiful day here today. Blue skies with some clouds now and then.

Walked across parking lot in Short sleeves, someone just had to sarcastically comment "must be warm outside". Yes, it is. 42°F.

Not directly related to CT weather, but I noticed that the coldest temperature in the lower 48 yesterday was in North Carolina (albeit the top of Mt. Mitchell, which is one of the few US mountains east of the Rockies that is higher than the infamous for weather Mt. Washington). I wonder how rare that is......

Forget Wednesday December 5th storm...(although surprises have happened)

Saturday-Sunday December 8-9, 2018 Storm Update:

This time period looking good but of course we are 8-10 days away! We'll see. No point going over details right now other than the storm could be coming from the Gulf while the Jet stream dips down there and a storm comes up the coast.

We had sun yesterday but you know what that means.

Rain. Clouds. Sun. Clouds. Rain. Rain. Clouds. Rain. Wet. Sun. Clouds. Rain. Rain. Rain. Rain. Clouds. Sun. Clouds. Rain. Rain. Clouds. Rain. Wet. Sun. Clouds. Rain. Rain. Rain.

Maybe next week we can get 2-3 days of sun
