Default Bridgeport, CN (Univ of Bridgeport)

What is Bridgeport,CN like?
I'm considering attending the University, and I've only heard of Storrs and Hartford. Any information about Bridgeport would be highly appreciated (about the town, weather, University etc.)

Ummm...Bridgeport isn't exactly one of our safer cities though it is getting a bit better than it was. Efforts are being made to develop cultural attractions.

As for our state's abbreviation, please use "Conn." or "CT" plus ZIP code. "CN" is for Canada.

Not a very safe city at all. Lots of murders and other crimes.

Bridgeport is a pretty nondescript city- crime is high for a New England city, compared to other city nationally, it would be average.

Efforts are being made to revitalize the city. It is not far from New Haven-which is a big plus. Weather wise, expect cold but not frigid winters, unpredictable springs, warm, and at times humid summers, and long pleasant autumns.

As far as the University of Bridgeport, I have really no solid information regarding the school.

I could of sworn that I heard the moonies took over the University of Bridgeport. I went to Uconn in Storrs and it was great! A real college experience the town is based around the school and it's the top public university in New England. As for The University of Hartford it's also a decent school. It does border a rough neighborhood. A lot of kids from NY & NJ and a lot of kids with money.

Good Luck
