Hi,
Does anyone know about Taftville, CT?
I'm interested to know about avg. property values, colleges, jobs and the state of the local government.
Is it a desirable area to live in? Is there a downtown, theater, shopping? I would appreciate any information from people who live in the town/area or visited within the last half a year.

Taftville CT is a neighborhood of Norwich CT-local government will be in Norwich.

Shopping will be in Norwich,. Additional shopping in Waterford- a large Mall, and New London- both less then 15 miles away. Norwich is a former textile industry town from the late 19th & early 20th, that became somewhat faded, and is now enjoying a rebirth.

The town/city of Norwich offers some desirable neighborhoods, with newer housing and many with Victorian architecture., with historic charm.

Colleges nearby will be the University of Connecticut, & Three Rivers Community College in Norwich.
