Quite a few neighboring communities in Connecticut are spoken about (quite fondly) in pairs.
examples:
fairfield/westport
westport/weston
lyme/old lyme
woodbridge/orange
southbury/middlebury
roxbury/woodbury
madison/guilford
durham/middlefield
haddam/killingworth
avon/simsbury
ridgefield/wilton
easton/redding
new canaan/darien
newtown/monroe
essex/chester
clinton/westbrook
hebron/marlborough
etc.
which "sister towns" are your favorites and why?
edit: could a moderator create a poll for this thread? Forgot to make one when creating it.

I'd put Easton with Redding and Westport with Weston...
But I'd have to say Madison/Guilford.... both perfect little towns.

I enjoy Wallingford/North Haven. Both complement each other well and are great places to bring up a family.

Suffield/Enfield
Compliment one another perfectly. Beautiful residential areas in Suffield with your shopping and jobs in Enfield.

Agreed.
Runner up for me would be Essex/Chester.
Also OP, you can’t do a poll after the fact even as a moderator.

Orange/Woodbridge is bland but not Hebron/Marlborough?
Guess you haven’t explored the backroads of Woodbridge/Orange much. Very attractive areas
