Question Advice on South Norwalk????

Hi All -

I've lived in Ca all my life and I'm being transferred to Ct for work. I'd like to live in South Norwalk (SoNo) and I'm looking for advice on specific areas to stay away from (neighborhoods? complexes? east or west of main st?).

Thanks so much for your help!!!

You want to stay north of Elizabeth St., east of Main St. and south of Marshall St.

You're welcome. The most important thing is to stay north of Elizabeth Street. At least that was the dividing line when I used to hang out in the area just a few years back. The northern border I mentioned is mostly so that you can stay in the thick of things.

The area you are describing is the core of South Norwalk. I think that now there are more places to live that are north of Marshall that are very nice. That area is being redeveloped and the apartments there look wonderful. Jay

There seems to be a lot of listing on Flax Hill rd.

Does anybody know anything about that area?

Flax Hill was okay 3 years ago when I lived there. Not the best of areas, but it is right in the thick of where everything is. Like anywhere, you need to stay aware and you would be okay. You can walk to the train station from there too.
