Grass has a very light coating but roads are wet in Wallingford. Thinking I may head in for a few hours and get home before it gets bad.

Cement snow. 1 inch of snow clumping to everything weighing the evergreens down.. Roads nada.
Surface temp 32° while its 23° at 5000'.

Steady snow should move in soon. Notice the south north move now.

2:30-6:30am Loop

Roads are just wet south and east of Hartford. I’m thinking a half day at the office will suffice, getting off the road by 1 pm.

Kinda been my thinking all along. It wont get steady for another couple hours and it wasn't till after lunchtime when it will start getting sticky.

I lost 0.12" precip already to only 1" of snow. lol
Another 1" precip coming though.

8:1 ratios outside.

I’m headed in to Manhattan. Have a sneaking suspicion this system will disappoint. Besides as the big dog, it sends a message.

If you wanna keep track of where the storm is...Use this link.. Updates every 15 minutes.

The coastal storm formed overnight and now its stronger than the inland storm. So the inland storm is merging with the coastal now.

Yes, radar doesn't look impressive. I know. Should fill in as this thing spins off the coast.

Most of the snow might happen in a 6 hour period which means intense snow rates!

Meanwhile, it's 64 and partly cloudy here in Tampa

Hope to see a bunch of pictures from this storm!

I'm thinking that come 2/3pm your going to see a ramp up right into evening of intense snow rates. I'm ok with the slow start.
