Yup... We may have a lasting snowpack for few days a week+. Sun can only do so much and there's no real warmup coming next 10 days. And I was about to weed and feed my lawn. LOL

No surprise we're getting another inch. Wettest February on record(one of) and the wet pattern continues with that Tropical Pacific flow which is now dropping through cold air. Nice to see the Plumes come up!

Can't stress this enough that if you have no power still from last weeks NorEaster, spend today to prepare for the next 5-7 days.

Heavy wet snow not only might put stress on wires and transformers but will put a hault on any effort made to restoring power. At least for tomorrow. Then you have Thursday with snow still on ground and mounds of it and uncleared roads you're talking till Friday until crews might start working on restoring power again.

This could be a mess if there's new power outages as well.

I'll be the one to post the probably 6-12 hours too early question of "what's the timing?"

Thinking of going in and leaving early, when does it "get bad," so to speak? Couple maps seem to show some intensifying mid-late afternoon like around 3-4 PM, am I safe to bail at 2?

Trying to gauge the timing as well, I've heard everything from Tuesday night through Wednesday morning, Wednesday all day, and some even saying it will be Thursday storm instead.

Currently arguing with a family member who is insistent they are going to get just rain and maybe a couple of small inches in Branford.

Have to play by eye in the morning. I think safe to bail by 2pm but roads might be slushy or slick by then with heavy snow coming down.

"light" snow starts overnight and by sunrise but roads probably be ok. Snow picks up intensity by lunchtime thats when it will start accumulating faster

I've got a flight out of Bradley at 9am on Thursday so I'm hoping the highway crews are on top of the clean up.
