thanks for the info. i have found out that my office is within walking distance of the Stamford Metro Station. I am wondering though if from where i stay (am exploring Bridgeport, Stratford, Trumbull, Fairfield) are these places cyclists friendly?
if i stay say within a 5km distance from the train station i plan to cycle to the stations. Are the roads safe enough and do the Metro stations have locking stations for bicycles? Thanks. |

I have seen racks for bikes at most stations and there are people that do use them. The problem would be inclement weather. Not sure you would want to be on a bike in 20 degree tempuratures. Jay
