Cecile Grenier is alive & well in Cairo, GA. Larry Grenier passed away of cancer in 1986. Gayle is married with children in Sacramento, CA, and Marc is living life with his beautiful bride in Columbus, GA.

Ha. Poodle Tree. I haven't heard that in years, since I was a kid. We used to drive up Plainfield Street on the back way to Downtown Moosup and talk about the Poodle Tree as we passed the cemetary.

I lived in Plainfield, but my grandparents lived on Main Street, and then High Street (where my Uncle lives now.) I remember the day I had gotten a tooth pulled at Dr. Gregoire's office, when my mother promised I could get a toy at Seidman's 5 & 10 after the appointment. We went into the back ( I remember it having a dirt floor)...and then about 10 hours later it, and most of Downtown Moosup burned to the ground.

Dr. Gregoire was my dentist too. Upstairs, if I recall. When did Moosup burn down?

Johnny's Pizza would be a good stop in Moosup. Other than that there isn't much there...as my relatives that live there will vouch for.

Wow!!! I can't believe I found this forum. I grew up in Moosup and left around 1962 (geez, has it been that long?) I lived on Dagget St. Is it still there?
