Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk, CT is the #10 most educated metro area in the country.

Even more impressive considering all of the other cities on the list have huge universities in them. We have Fairfield Univ, Sacred Heart etc but nowhere on the scale of an Ann Arbor where UMich has 45k students and 25k in university staff/teachers.

If you click on the map the Hartford area is 26 and the New Haven area is 44. If you scroll down a little further to the square graph with the green, grey and red circles Hartford and New Haven are listed as "High Educational Level" too.



So good news for a large portion of the state.

Also according to CERC, only two towns in CT have populations where >80% have a bachelors degree or greater- Weston & Darien, which also happen to be the only towns with median incomes above $200k, so I guess not surprising.
