Granted it's in student fees but the fact that so many students can now ride buses and trains all over the state (and technically Springfield) is huge. Employment and tourism come to mind immediately. Students might not realize it now but give it a few weeks and this could add up.

Yes. It is a great plan for students. DW was just trying to convince DS to get it but he does not use mass transit so he said no. Jay

Weird how Eastern isn't on the list.... I guess there is no bus service to Willimantic because nobody wants to go there..... My stepdaughter is starting her sophomore year there this year and if there was bus service between ECSU and Norwich, I'm sure she would take advantage of it to save gas money.

That is odd since Windham Regional Transit District is listed as one of the transit agencies. They serve Eastern. Jay

I find it odd no ECSU as UCONN is a hop skip and jump away

Though ECSU last time I recall was the only State School that allowed Freshman to have a car on campus.
