I REALLY WANT TO THANK ALL WHO REPLYED with all my heart for the info on WATERTOWN. and please keep all the info coming. i cant wait to leave crappy CA been here way to long been though so much crap you would not believe. the way of life here is way different people here are lost on another planet nothing like where we are from i'll tell ya. and if anyone moves to ca thinking it's a good place to live come find out for yourself boy will you be suprised. i've lived and traveled this whole state and it's all the same rude people,expensive, violent, and lots of phony people, and the weather sucks to. well what do i know im just a sicilian italian kid from waterbury but i'll say one thing at least i was raised with respect, love, kindness, and caring heart, and to care and help people. a that's something i've never ever seen out here. THANKS TO SKYTREKKER,JAYCT,CRUIKSHI, AND BRASSCITYBLUENWHITE for the kind posts. Cant wait to come home CANT STAND being SAD.

I disagree, people in CA are very friendly and some of the best at being genuianly friendly, rude is everywhere my friend.

Weather dose not suck, the more temperate the weather is the longer you live.
Phony remark is a judgment

Census for 2007 showed CA and CT equal in inbound and outbound residents.

What's that say about CT?

obviously goldwing you know nothing about ct you must be from CRAPPY CA you know nothing about where i come from and how i live. 2nd i know about 40 to 50 familys that left ca for a lot of the same reasons and they all weren't born in CT, a lot of them were born and raised in CA. as far as stereotype you dont need to be a genious to understand that CRAPPY CA IS WHAT IT IS my friend horrible. and all the people i know that left will tell you that ca is the worst place for anything. and you say people are friendly here let me tell what that is. full of crap, yes phony, rude, rich with attitude, out for them self, no heart, BACKSTABBERS, and two faced. well that's enough i think you should crawl out from that rock you live under and stop letting people pump the sunshine on you. i told a story here about my life and things im going through. and you stick up for the whole state typical CALIFORNIAN.OHHH IF YOU ONLY KNEW.

Vinman - California is a very large state. Not everyone there is bad. Like any state there are good and bad. I am sorry your experience was not good. Anyway, hopefully soon we will be welcoming you back to Connecticut. Jay

I have to get me two cents in here...your being very unfair to VINMAN, your opinion of CA is just that yours, VINMAN has his opinion and thats his. Its not fair to bash him and others because they don't like living in CA, alot of people come and go from CA for there own reasons, not everyone likes CA sorry to say, so don't get too upset when someone doesn't agree with you on how great CA is.

Your way off, he's not giving an opinion it a clear BASHING, there's a BIG difference, get it right.

He should be been band for such a sever bashing of this kind.
