Hello :-)

I'm thinking about buying a house in Woodland Ave, Bloomfield. Does anyone know if this is a good area? I know that some areas in Bloomfield are not good.

Thank you,
SilCT

This area is still quite nice. Closer to the simsbury/windsor borders, but you are still close to the center of bloomfield with some shopping, library, post office, etc. I also heard that the former theater that closed in town about a year ago will be reopening soon in the wintonbury mall. Not sure if you know, but woodland is a busier road if that is a consideration for you. It connects up to day hill road/blue hills ave area - Day Hill Road houses many businesses/companies. Also, if you have children, bloomfield schools are not noted to be the best, but there are nearby private schools if that is a consideration for you.

Thank you very much Srib :-) I don't have children, so the school system is not an issue for me. Maybe it will be if I try to sell this house in the future...
