thimble islands in branford, you can take a boat tour for cheap (like $10 or so i think) its beautiful and interesting history

Lighthouse point in new haven

cemetery under the new haven green tour

harkness state park and beach is stunningly beautiful

This thread has been my "go to" list for ideas this summer. We really enjoyed Talcott Mtn/Hublein Tower and the Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington.

Candlewood Lake, Brookfield - free public launch with facilities. Very large lake with islands, cliff jumping, marinas, restaurant/bar w/ slips. Very fun for all. Echo Bay marina will also rent Bayliners and pontoons for 1/2 and full day.
