Hello,

Can anyone tell me anything about Enfield, CT? Is it close to Danbury at all? I know there is a call center there for Comcast cable, but I am unable to find a local phone number for it nor do I know the name of the actual call center. Can anyone help me out? I would apprecite it. Is the town safe? Please let me know.

Enfield is in north central CT-near the Mass. line- a good distance from Danbury-around 70 miles or so. The town is closer to Springfield Mass then Hartford. Housing is very affordable.

Enfield is mostly a working class town of 50K+ with a sprinkling of professionals.

I read about Comcast opening up a call center in Enfield, but I don't think it is open yet.

Grew up there. 2 high schools, 1 middle school, 9 elementary. A few private schools. 1 Community College. Population 45000. I would say 25 mins to Hartford, 15 to Springfield. On the CT. River to the East and Somers to the West.

Avg. income is about 50,000 /year. Houses are 180 and up, maybe less.

Comcast plans to open a new call center in Enfield and add 170 jobs to handle customers it acquired from bankrupt Adelphia Communications.

The new center continues a strategy by Comcast to have regional call centers that allow customers to speak with representatives who know the area, said Doug Guthrie, vice president for Connecticut and western Massachusetts.

Try these numbers, they may be able to help you (found on google). Looks like they are still building this call center.

90 Phoenix Ave. - That's the address of the call center, you can try swinging by it.

Other than that, I could not find a specific phone number for Comcast in Enfield. You'll probably want to go to the company's website and apply through there.

Thank you all so much. I did read that article the other day and went to the Comcast website, but there were no positions for enfield ct...which is what brings me to searching for a number. I will try the ones you gave, metaljaybird.

I called all of the numbers I have including the two you gave me and they all just rang and rang. One answered and sent me to a voicemail. This is very frustrating. Oh well. Thank you again for your help though.

Keep trying...I would suggest you check all the major job sites for this. If you really want it, you'll get it.

Enfield is about 1 hour & 20 minutes (or more) from Danbury. Comcast is advertising for their new Call Center in Enfield. I don't see a local number listed. The Center appears to be right off of Route 91 around exit 49 ??.
There are postitions listed for the Enfield location at Comcast Home. You can apply on line, go to the career section. Hope this helps.
