West End of Hartford
Contemplating moving to the West End-the UCONN LAW side of Farmington Ave-not far from Fed Ex Kinkos. Would this be considered a safe part of the West End? Would really appreciate any responses.

Yes, good area. Lots of nice large homes. The Govenors mansion is in the area.

I'm on Girard...it's not bad. It gets worse as you head down Farmington Ave towards Hartford. Apparently there was a carjacking at the corner Sisson and Farmington recently though.
